About the Author
Jesse Durovey is a veteran of the U.S. Army and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in English Literature at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. In 2008, he deployed to Afghanistan as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. Jesse is a wanderer at heart, and he has called many different U.S. states his home. He has spent time in many foreign lands as well—including three incredible years in Alice Springs, Australia. Since being honorably discharged in December of 2013, he has been diligently furthering his education and improving his writing skills.
Jesse is a lover of science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, and military fiction—and much of his personal writing reflects decades of immersion in these genres. He is currently working hard on several short stories and numerous flash fiction pieces while finishing his last semester of undergraduate work, which will award him a degree in English. With what little time he has left, Jesse works on the manuscript of his first novel and completes applications to graduate schools.
